• 6 Derwent Charcoal pencils, neatly housed in a Derwent silver tin, with a pencil sharpener included. Charcoal pencils give you greater control over your drawings, while keeping those rich, bold, and expressive charcoal effects.
• Often used for life studies, charcoal is a very traditional, chalky art material, but encasing in wood to make a pencil, gives Derwent Charcoal a more contemporary feel. The three grades offer a rich range of tones from the deepest black to the most delicate grey. Use the Tinted Charcoal White pencil included in this sketching set to add highlights.
• Smudge and blend easily with a paper stump or finger, or manipulate with a wet brush, due to the naturally soluble formulation.
• Use with other Derwent Charcoal and Tinted Charcoal products for a more dramatic effect.
